Eating breakfast is a non-negotiable part of my morning. To avoid cooking in the morning, or adding to my morning to-do list, I make muesli the night before to have a quick, delicious breakfast option that I can grab and go. It’s much healthier, cost-effective, and time-saving than most coffee shop and drive through breakfast options. My favorite muesli combo is vanilla yogurt, frozen strawberries, walnuts and cinnamon.
Overnight Muesli Formula
½ Cup Old Fashioned Oats
8 oz. Greek Yogurt (any flavor)
¼ cup milk or water
½ Cup Fruit (frozen fruit with no added sugar, fresh fruit, shredded apples, etc.)
1/8 cup – ¼ cup Nuts (walnuts, cashews, almonds, etc.)
Extras (Optional) – cinnamon, flax seed
Stir in oats, yogurt, fruit, and milk. Cover, and refrigerate overnight. Fold in nuts and extras in the morning.
