What to expect:
Yoga: Bring a mat, and plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early. New students should arrive 10-15 minutes early to meet Jessica, fill out the new student forms, get oriented, and set up before class begins. Typically, yoga is done with bare feet, or some prefer to wear toe socks. You may want to wear shorts, fitted leggings, or any comfortable workout clothing. The room can be initially chilly, so wearing layers is recommended, as well. Make sure you let your teacher know if you have any health concerns in order to receive appropriate modifications. Not all exercise programs are suitable for everyone. You should always consult your physician or health care specialist before beginning an exercise program, especially if you have any chronic or recurring physical conditions, and/or if you are pregnant, nursing, or elderly.
Drop It Low: Leave your self-consciousness at the door and be ready to 'shake your groove thang' in a safe and fun container. Wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes, and bring a water bottle for hydration. New students should arrive 10-15 minutes early to meet Jessica, fill out the new student forms, get oriented, and set up before class begins.
Please check the website and/or the Sharpenstein Health Coaching Facebook page for cancellations. For classes missed due to weather, please refer to the Make-up policy.
Students are encouraged to make up missed classes. Classes may be made up anytime during the current session. In lieu of making up the class yourself, you may bring a friend to your class.
