JESSICA'S EXPERIENCE

Jessica began her health/wellness/fitness career nearly 15 years ago by teaching various group exercise classes. In 2004, she decided to expand her education and received a Master’s of Science in Exercise Physiology. During her time in graduate school, she focused on obesity research and behavior change. She was interested in mental approaches to health behaviors, as well as physiological changes related to health behaviors. Jessica then expanded her skills by being certified by Wellcoaches®. Wellcoaches is the gold standard certification for professional health and wellness coaches. Coaches certified by Wellcoaches are expert facilitators of the psychological processes of change that generate sustainable healthy lifestyles which prevent or treat disease and foster health and well-being

MESSAGE FROM JESSICA

While working in the health/fitness field, my goal has been to develop an understanding of “why people stop and start,” without ever connecting with life-long changes. My goal is to help people navigate their personal obstacles that stand in the way of their best self. Therefore, I strive to connect people with their wellness vision; and, maneuver strategies that create a road map for their personal wellness. My work is a manifestation of my goals to help individuals overcome obesity, poor nutrition, sedentary lifestyles, and the stress that accompanies these maladies.
